After our second night at cousin Nancy’s house, we left with plans to stop at Dollywood and a drive through the Great Smoky Mountains on our way home.  It was a two day drive to get to Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, TN near the Great Smoky Mountains.  Both days were very stormy and hard to drive at times. After the Hamfest was over, we drove south to Round Rock, about 3 1/2 hrs away to visit John’s cousin Nancy, her husband DJ, and her sister, Shirley.  We spent 2 nights and one day there and wish we could have been there longer.  It’s always fun to visit them.  Everyone was going to be busy during the day we were there, so it was suggested that we go on a daytrip to Gruene (pronounced “Green”).
